The Betsy Hotel, South Beach Miami Beach, Miami Beach

The hotel is a mixed bag - the rooms are nicely decorated but small, the service is super attentive and kind, the location is perfect right across from the beach but noisy on the lower floor. While the dining experience can be a bit lacking and overpriced, the overall ambiance from amenities to decor is pleasing.

I stayed at the Betsy hotel for 3 nights with my wife and children. The rooms were small and lacked surface area to put things; I had to balance the hairdryer on the toilet seat due to the limited shelf space in the shower room. The hotel needs better service, and it can get noisy at night if you're a light sleeper.

I was thrilled with the location of the hotel, right at the upper end of Ocean Drive and just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The rooms were clean, chic, and cozy, which was a relief for us as we were staying with two toddlers. However, there were some maintenance issues that led to the closure of certain areas until they were sorted out.

The hotel offers comfortable rooms with nice linens and fixtures, despite being a bit small and dark. The service is attentive and courteous, making the stay very pleasant. Its prime location across the famous Miami South Beach adds value to the overall experience, though some interactions with staff were unsatisfactory. The dining options vary from complete and varied to a major disappointment in some instances.

The hotel was a real hideaway, cozy and clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Although the rooms were a bit small, it felt like a true escape. The service was a mix of cheerful and unhelpful moments. The location was fabulous, right by the beach and local attractions. Dining had its highs and lows, with some dishes being really good and others disappointing. The facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
